About the Role:
Christopher's Pizza in Carolina Shores, NC is looking for a talented and passionate Kitchen Cook to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items including pizzas, appetizers, and other kitchen offerings to order
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, prep stations, and slicers safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout each shift
- Monitor food inventory and communicate low stock or supply needs to management
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Adhere to all food safety, health code, and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of food prep techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
