Responsibilities:

  • Lead construction projects from planning and design through execution, commissioning, and closeout.

  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and project deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

  • Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.

  • Apply professional engineering judgment to construction and project-related decisions within the scope of the PE license.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.

  • Manage contractors and subcontractors, including bid evaluations, contract performance, change orders, and schedule compliance.

  • Monitor project costs, forecasts, commitments, and financial performance; identify and address budget risks.

  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates, including schedule, cost, safety, quality, risks, and overall project performance.

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency strategies.

  • Ensure construction activities comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and client specifications.

  • Support permitting, inspections, regulatory approvals, and coordination with authorities having jurisdiction.

  • Review and approve technical documentation and construction deliverables as appropriate under the PE license and applicable regulations.

  • Oversee quality control and quality assurance activities throughout project execution.

  • Manage project changes, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, deficiencies, and closeout documentation.

  • Coordinate commissioning, turnover, and final acceptance activities.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records in accordance with company and client requirements.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in construction, engineering, project management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience managing construction projects from design through completion.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project controls, engineering principles, and contract administration.

  • Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong understanding of construction safety requirements, applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and competing priorities.

  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
