Los puestos requieren caminar y permanecer de pie durante períodos prolongados, brindar servicio al cliente y manejo de situaciones de conflicto (desescalación), responder a emergencias y desempeñar otras responsabilidades generales de seguridad.

Descripción del Puesto de Oficial de Seguridad

Observa e informa actividades e incidentes en las instalaciones asignadas del cliente, contribuyendo a la seguridad y protección de la propiedad y del personal. Realiza rondas periódicas para verificar irregularidades e inspeccionar dispositivos de protección y equipos de control contra incendios.

Mantiene el orden y puede actuar para hacer cumplir reglamentos y directrices del sitio relacionadas con el personal, visitantes e instalaciones. Controla el acceso a las instalaciones del cliente mediante procesos de admisión y autorización.

Patrulla el sitio asignado a pie o en vehículo; verifica condiciones inseguras, riesgos, puertas sin asegurar, violaciones de seguridad, entradas y salidas bloqueadas, problemas mecánicos y personas no autorizadas.

Protege evidencia o escenas de incidentes en caso de accidentes, emergencias o investigaciones de seguridad. Responde a incidentes como incendios, emergencias médicas, amenazas de bomba, inundaciones, descargas de agua, emergencias en ascensores, materiales peligrosos, clima severo y otros eventos.

Prepara registros y reportes según sea necesario. Las funciones específicas pueden variar y documentarse por separado. Es posible que el empleado no deba realizar todas las funciones enumeradas. Se podrán asignar responsabilidades adicionales y modificar funciones de acuerdo con las necesidades del negocio.

Requisitos del Puesto

Con o sin adaptaciones razonables, los requisitos físicos y mentales de este puesto pueden incluir:

Capacidad para ver, escuchar, hablar y escribir con claridad.
Se requiere licencia de conducir válida y tener 21 años de edad o más.
Alcanzar objetos con las manos y brazos ocasionalmente.
Agacharse, arrodillarse, ponerse en cuclillas y arrastrarse ocasionalmente.
Permanecer sentado, de pie y caminar con frecuencia, lo que puede requerirse durante períodos prolongados.
Subir escaleras, caminar por pendientes y terrenos irregulares.
Levantar y/o mover con frecuencia hasta 10 libras.
Levantar y/o mover ocasionalmente hasta 25 libras.
Cumplir y continuar cumpliendo con todos los requisitos de licencias estatales, del condado y municipales aplicables para Oficiales de Seguridad.

Positions Require heavy walking and standing, customer service/de-escalation, emergency response, and other general Security responsibilities. Valid Driver's License and 21 years of age required

Security Job Description:

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. Prepares logs and reports as required. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. The employee might not be required to perform all functions listed. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.

Job Requirements:

With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
