We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and manage the full order lifecycle—from initial inquiry through delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, building customer relationships, and gaining hands-on experience in quoting, order management, and customer success within a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the main contact for assigned customer accountsÂ
- Manage orders from inquiry through delivery, ensuring accuracy and timelinessÂ
- Provide updates on order status, shipping dates, pricing, and product availabilityÂ
- Review RFQs/RFPs and ensure all required information is complete for quotingÂ
- Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Planning, Sourcing) to ensure smooth order flowÂ
- Support quoting activities and track submissions and outcomesÂ
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and emailÂ
- Maintain documentation and customer recordsÂ
- Help resolve issues, expedite orders, and support customer needsÂ
- Build and maintain strong customer relationshipsÂ
- Support KPI tracking (orders, revenue, quote turnaround, win rate, etc.)Â
- Train or mentor junior team members as neededÂ
- Travel occasionally (up to once per quarter)Â
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skillsÂ
- Highly organized with strong attention to detailÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze and act on dataÂ
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple departmentsÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Â
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferredÂ
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of inventory management (kanban, safety stock, etc.)Â
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processesÂ
- Experience with quoting, sourcing, or order managementÂ
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
OR - Associate’s degree with relevant experience
OR - High school diploma/GED with 3–5 years of professional experience
