Location Description
Wakefield is one of the largest production facilities within Michael Foods.Ā We serve as a flex plant and are able to produce everything from a whole pasteurized egg to liquid, dried, hardboiled and curds.Ā

SUMMARY:Ā Ā Ā
TheĀ MaintenanceĀ PlannerĀ providesĀ support toĀ both Maintenance and Reliability services within the plant, championingĀ maintenance processĀ executionalĀ excellenceĀ and asset health improvement efforts. TheĀ MaintenanceĀ PlannerĀ will ensure results while partnering with the MFI ARM team, plant maintenance team personnel, plant operational team, and all other plant support teams members for success.Ā TheĀ MaintenanceĀ PlannerĀ willĀ activelyĀ participateĀ onĀ the maintenanceĀ workflowĀ processĀ team and will ensure that work orders forĀ plantĀ assets are in theĀ CMMSĀ backlog andĀ are beingĀ plannedĀ and scheduled effectively.Ā The MaintenanceĀ PlannerĀ will work withĀ Supervisors, Leads, & TechniciansĀ toĀ helpĀ ensure thatĀ scheduled work ordersĀ are properly executed,Ā followed through,Ā documentedĀ andĀ theĀ value of the job is captured and reported.Ā They will promote,Ā execute,Ā mentor,Ā and coachĀ excellence inĀ planning & schedulingĀ preventive and correctiveĀ maintenance practices.Ā The Maintenance Planner willĀ monitorĀ and report WR/WO status, including backlog, to plant leadership weekly and be accountable for KPIās using CMMS data.Ā They will beĀ a competentĀ CMMS āuserāĀ responsible forĀ data integrity.Ā The MaintenanceĀ PlannerĀ will become a resource to the plant who constantlyĀ assistsĀ in improving theĀ operating conditionĀ of equipment and improving theĀ effectivenessĀ and performance of the maintenance team.Ā This position has the responsibility toĀ comply withĀ Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. - Plan, schedule,Ā and champion Precision Maintenance® techniquesĀ ensuringĀ procedural compliance and that job tolerances are metĀ
- Identify, develop, and implementĀ maintenance processĀ and performance improvement projectsĀ
- Develops and implements PM and job plans for critical equipmentĀ workĀ with the maintenance, reliability, operations, & engineering personnel.Ā
- ActivelyĀ participateĀ inĀ maintenance process and systemĀ training forĀ teamĀ personnelĀ
- AdviseĀ / assist craftsman duringĀ planned and scheduledĀ maintenanceĀ assignmentsĀ as necessaryĀ
- Plan and scheduleĀ preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with excellenceĀ
- ActivelyĀ participateĀ inĀ storeroom activities related to job packages and kitting,Ā componentĀ criticality analysis,Ā reliability-basedĀ storage practicesĀ
- ActivelyĀ participateĀ in theĀ development and sustainability of theĀ CMMSĀ physical asset data base includingĀ equipment & componentĀ criticality, precision tasks,Ā BOMās, and all other necessary supporting data for asset care excellenceĀ
- ActivelyĀ participateĀ inĀ maintenance & reliability task scheduling for long term andĀ short-termĀ equipment reliability inĀ anĀ inclusive and transparent manner working with operations partnersĀ
- UtilizeĀ MFI approvedĀ CMMS toĀ manage, document, andĀ supportĀ reliabilityĀ reporting and decision making.Ā This will beĀ accomplishedĀ throughĀ the guidance ofĀ MFI ARM standards.Ā
- KeepĀ accurateĀ and up-to-date recordsĀ asĀ required.Ā
- Provides input for root cause analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create anĀ environment of continuous asset reliability improvement.Ā Ā

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEĀ REQUIRED:Ā
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentĀ
- Associate's degree or two-year technical certificate,Ā or experience whichĀ demonstratesĀ technical aptitude preferredĀ Ā
- 2 to 3 years of experience as an industrialĀ maintenance technician preferredĀ
- Trained and competent in MFI MTL1 and MTL2 skills preferredĀ
- Ability to read and decipher mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&ID diagrams preferredĀ
- E&I troubleshooting experience preferredĀ
- 1 to 2 years of experience with maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment preferredĀ
- Ā Prior experience in SAP at ācompetent userā level preferredĀ
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organizationĀ Ā
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with superb time management and project scheduling skills.Ā Ā
- Excellent administrative and follow up skills to achieve success with condition-based maintenance, preventive maintenance, and precision corrective repair programs.Ā
