Wakefield is one of the largest production facilities within Michael Foods.Ā We serve as a flex plant and are able to produce everything from a whole pasteurized egg to liquid, dried, hardboiled and curds.Ā

SUMMARY:Ā Ā Ā
Precision Maintenance Champion provides both Maintenance and Reliability services within the plant, championing executional excellence and asset health improvement efforts. The ReliabilityĀ SMEĀ will ensure results while partnering with the MFI ARM team, plant maintenance team personnel, plant operational team, and all other plant support teams members for success. This position will work closely with the operations, engineering, and maintenance departments to ensure that a troubled equipment/component list is created,Ā maintained,Ā tracked,Ā and communicated toĀ wholeĀ plant organization. The ReliabilityĀ SMEĀ will become a part of the manufacturing work system team and will ensure that work orders for these assets are in the backlog and planned well. ReliabilityĀ SMEĀ will work from this backlog to ensure that jobs are considered for the schedule every week.Ā ReliabilityĀ SMEĀ will work with technicians to ensure that these improvement projects are properlyĀ executed,Ā followed through,Ā documentedĀ and value of the job is captured and reported to all levels of the plant organization. The ReliabilityĀ SMEĀ will report Weekly and monthly toĀ plantĀ leadership team on progress made and upcoming opportunities to improve. They will promote mentor and coach precision maintenance practices and will lead the facilityās lubrication improvement program. ReliabilityĀ SMEĀ will become a resource to the plant who constantly focuses on improving the life of troubled equipment and improving the skill sets and performance of the maintenanceĀ team.Ā This position has the responsibility toĀ comply withĀ Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā

- Develop, implement, and champion Precision Maintenance® techniquesĀ ensuringĀ procedural compliance and that job tolerances are metĀ
- Identify, develop, justify, and implement reliability and performance improvement projectsĀ
- Work with CorporateĀ ReliabilityĀ Team to develop, implement,Ā and review real time condition assessment data for all critical equipmentĀ
- Responsible forĀ identifying,Ā coordinating, andĀ facilitatingĀ reliabilityĀ training for maintenance personnelĀ
- Develop and implement quality assuranceĀ and reliabilityĀ procedures for critical spares and partsĀ
- Develop and implement quality commissioning procedures for rebuilt or new equipmentĀ
- Work with vendors in addressing issuesĀ identifiedĀ through root cause and condition-based maintenance programsĀ
- Lead / assist craftsman during precision assignmentsĀ
- UtilizeĀ MFI approvedĀ CMMS toĀ manage, document, andĀ supportĀ reliabilityĀ reporting and decision making.Ā This will beĀ accomplishedĀ throughĀ the guidance ofĀ MFI ARM standards.Ā
- KeepsĀ accurateĀ and up-to-date records (i.e.,Ā SAP data, PdM, Precision DocumentationĀ etc..).Ā
- Provides input for root cause analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centered Maintenance to create anĀ environment of continuous asset reliability improvement.Ā Ā

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEĀ REQUIRED:Ā
- BachelorāsĀ degree in engineering or technical field is preferred. Can also have anĀ associate'sĀ degree, two-year technical certificate or combination of experience whichĀ demonstratesĀ technical and leadership aptitude.Ā Ā
- Demonstrated leadership experienceĀ preferredĀ
- 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician with an emphasis on rotating equipmentĀ preferredĀ
- Trained andĀ competent in MFI MTL1, MTL2, & MTL3 skillsĀ preferredĀ
- Certified Reliability Leader (CRL fromĀ Reliability Web)Ā certification preferredĀ
- MLA II āMachinery Lubrication AnalystāĀ certification preferredĀ
- ISO Vibration Analyst CAT IIĀ certification preferredĀ
- ISO Ultrasound Analyst CAT IIĀ certification preferredĀ
- IR Level 1Ā certification preferredĀ
- Prior experience in SAP preferred.Ā Ā
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organizationĀ Ā
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with superb time management and project scheduling skills.Ā Ā
- Excellent administrative and follow up skills to achieve successĀ withĀ condition-basedĀ maintenance,Ā preventiveĀ maintenance,Ā andĀ precision correctiveĀ repair programs.Ā Ā
