Anderson Environmental Contracting (AEC) is not a typical contractor. We are a rapidly growing environmental construction company delivering complex, high-impact projects across remediation, infrastructure, and fuel systems.

We’re looking for Laborers who want more than just a job — people who want to build skills, work on meaningful projects, and grow fast. This role is for individuals who:

  • Take pride in working hard and getting things done right
  • Want to learn new skills and operate in a hands-on environment
  • Prefer variety over doing the same thing every day
  • Are comfortable working in the field and traveling for projects

What You’ll Work On

Our Environmental team executes a wide range of field-driven projects, including:

  • Contaminated site remediation
  • Stormwater system installation and maintenance
  • Demolition and site clearing
  • Culvert installation and infrastructure work
  • Remedial treatment systems

No two days look the same - you’ll gain exposure to multiple scopes, equipment, and field conditions.

What You’ll Do

  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safety-first job site
  • Support field operations across a variety of environmental construction projects
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients
  • Assist with equipment operation, material handling, and site work
  • Wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary
  • Show up ready to learn, adapt, and take on new responsibilities

What We Offer

  • Above-market compensation
  • Employer-paid medical insurance (vision + dental options available)
  • Supplemental coverage (Aflac) + FSA
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO program
  • Monthly cell phone allowance
  • Opportunities for prevailing wage work
  • Paid travel, lodging, and per diem

What It’s Like to Work Here

Recent project example: Our team completed a large-scale soil remediation and demolition project on the Washington coast, including:

  • Demolition of an abandoned fuel station and structures
  • Groundwater extraction and treatment
  • Excavation and removal of 5,000+ CY of contaminated soil
  • Site restoration with clean backfill
  • Removal and decommissioning of a 20,000-gallon underground storage tank

You won’t just watch - you’ll be part of work like this.

What You Bring

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions
  • Capability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing, kneeling, crawling)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles/equipment (preferred)
  • Team-first mindset with the ability to solve problems in the field

Preferred (Not Required - We’ll Help You Get There)

  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER (and refresher)
  • TWIC card

Travel & Work Environment

  • Travel throughout the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT)
  • Overnight travel is expected
  • Lodging + Per Diem Fully Covered
