Job Description/Responsibilities
As a Loss Prevention Guard, you'll help protect our people, products, and facility while serving as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors entering the site. You'll monitor facility access, maintain security procedures, respond to incidents, and serve as a key communication point during emergencies. 2nd - 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monay - Friday
3rd –10:00pm – 6:30am, Sunday - Thursday

What You'll Do
- Monitor and control access to the facility, including employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial vehicles, while following company security procedures and applicable regulations.
- Verify credentials, maintain visitor and access records, and monitor incoming and outgoing traffic to help protect company personnel, products, and assets.
- Serve as a central communication point during emergencies by contacting appropriate internal teams, emergency responders, and other personnel as needed.
- Conduct routine security checks, monitor facility activity, identify potential safety or security concerns, and promptly report incidents or policy violations.
- Provide professional and courteous service to employees, visitors, and drivers while maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant facility.

Required
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong observation, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and professional during emergency situations.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
Preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or regulated facility.
- Familiarity with security procedures, access control systems, incident reporting, OSHA requirements, or regulatory compliance.
- Experience monitoring commercial vehicle traffic, managing visitor access, or working in a facility security/control center.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while conducting facility and perimeter checks.
- Ability to move throughout the facility and respond quickly to security, safety, or emergency situations.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions and maintain regular, reliable on-site attendance.
