About the Role: Residential Electrical Estimator Job Opportunity

As an Electrical Estimator at HomePro, you will play a key role in supporting residential projects from concept through completion. This position is responsible for developing accurate estimates for electrical installations, including materials, labor, and scope alignment with builders and internal teams.

We welcome candidates with strong residential electrical field experience who are looking to grow into an estimating role.

Responsibilities for Residential Electrical Estimator Position

• Review blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine electrical scope for residential construction

• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and equipment

• Collaborate with builders, customers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements

• Partner with purchasing and operations to ensure accurate, up-to-date pricing

• Support project teams with change orders and scope adjustments

• Maintain organized bid documentation and project records

• Continuously improve estimating accuracy through project review and analysis

• Assist in developing estimating tools, templates, and processes

Qualifications for Residential Electrical Estimator Careers

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 4+ years of residential electrical experience (field or estimating)

• Texas Electrical License (Journeyman or higher preferred)

• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and NEC code

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; estimating software is a plus

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and ability to work across teams
