Key Responsibilities: - Assemble insulated glass units from raw materials, adhering to company standards and specifications. - Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to produce high-quality glass products. - Inspect finished products for defects to ensure they meet quality control standards. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. - Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. - Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment as needed. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent is required. Required Experience: - Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. - Experience with assembly line work, particularly in glass or similar materials, is an advantage. Required Skills and Abilities: - Must be capable of performing tasks while standing for extended periods. - Ability to lift heavy materials, up to 50 pounds, is necessary. - Strong attention to detail and precision in assembling products. - Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. - Good communication skills to follow instructions and report issues. - Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
