This role provides essential user account management, troubleshooting, and application support for Windows 10/11, Azure AD, Office 365, PointClickCare, Homecare Homebase, and other healthcare systems. The Tier 1 Technician ensures smooth daily operations for clinical and administrative staff by resolving issues quickly, documenting interactions, and escalating complex problems when needed. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused IT professional who enjoys helping users and learning new technologies. QualificationsQualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar role • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365 • Experience supporting healthcare software (PointClickCare, Homecare Homebase, or similar EMR systems preferred) • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems (ManageEngine preferred) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to guide users through step‑by‑step technical solutions • Strong problem‑solving skills and a positive, patient demeanor • Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment   Essential Functions • Manage user accounts and perform basic updates across multiple platforms • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11, EMR systems, and web applications • Provide remote printer support, mapping, and ticket creation for printer repairs • Assist staff with password resets, system access configuration, and application guidance • Maintain accurate records of user interactions and service requests in the ticketing system • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues • Stay current on healthcare technologies and system updates • Support employee onboarding by setting up accounts, access, and devices • Work on‑site at the Addison office during standard business hours • Perform other related tasks as assigned   Please visit cantexcc.com for more information about our organization.   We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
