POSITION SUMMARY:
Consistently follow processes and procedures as directed by the QA Supervisor/Manager to effectively measure, evaluate, and test samples of the Company product to ensure it meets food safety, quality and customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ā¢ Perform and document quality/process control observations and tests as specified for each item produced.
ā¢ Verify all labeling and code marking of packaging at each start up, change over and at specified intervals during production runs.
ā¢ Perform and document CCP/CQP checks, and cross checks as specified.
ā¢ Documentation is to be accurate, recorded as it is generated and following GMP principles.
ā¢ Report out of spec (OOS) data immediately to both production and quality managers/supervisors.
ā¢ Place all OOS and contaminated product on hold. Verify quantities
ā¢ Perform product change over pre-op inspections. Document verifications of line sanitation and GMPās compliance in conjunction with the appropriate Sanitation and Production personnel.
ā¢ Perform analysis and documentation as assigned by QA Supervisor/Manager
ā¢ Conduct continuous GMP compliance audits and submit documentation once per shift on finding with corrective action when applicable.
ā¢ Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures.
ā¢ Responsible for food safety and quality
ā¢ Assist QA Supervisor/Manager with filing when assigned
ā¢ Assist in peer cross-training when assigned
ā¢ Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
ā¢ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired and one year related experience.
