This position is responsible for coordinating with nursing staff to identify staffing needs, optimize staff utilization, and minimize overtime labor costs, ultimately contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the department in managing and maintaining the nursing staffing plan. - Coordinate with all nursing staff to identify staffing needs. - Optimize staff utilization to ensure efficient coverage. - Minimize overtime labor costs through effective scheduling. - Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) to support scheduling tasks. - Leverage Paycom Scheduling skills to enhance scheduling efficiency.QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent Required Experience: - Six to twelve months of prior staffing experience in the healthcare field is preferred. - One to two years’ experience and proficiency working in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Required Skills and Abilities: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. - Excellent communication skills for coordinating with nursing staff and identifying staffing needs. - Ability to optimize staff utilization and minimize overtime labor costs. Preferred Skills and Abilities: - Experience with Paycom Scheduling software. - Familiarity with healthcare staffing plans and processes. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing staffing schedules.
