We're looking for a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment used to manufacture and repair critical aerospace components. This is a hands-on role where precision, quality, and attention to detail matter. Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends) | 10:30 PM-7:00 AMSign-On Bonus: $1,000
What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders
- Manufacture and repair precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Adjust tooling, feeds, and speeds as needed to maintain quality standards
- Complete required inspection and production documentation
- Perform routine machine maintenance and operate overhead cranes as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring and inspection tools
- Strong math, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Bonus Qualifications:
- Manual machining or component repair experience
- CNC program editing experience
- Trade school, technical training, or related certifications
