Job Summary
We’re looking for an Engineering Technician to support our Engineering and Quality teams by helping drive performance, quality, and continuous improvement within our CNC EDM drilling and machining operations. In this hands-on role, you'll support new product implementation, develop tooling and machining programs, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, collect and analyze process data, and help optimize manufacturing processes that support the aerospace industry.

Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support CNC EDM drilling and machining operations through machine setup, calibration, and process improvements
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machining and EDM programs
- Design, develop, and qualify tooling and fixtures for manufacturing processes
- Conduct research and development trials, data collection, and process analysis
- Perform first article and first piece inspections
- Troubleshoot production issues and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Collect and analyze manufacturing data to improve process performance and quality
- Train operators on equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Create and maintain work instructions, technique sheets, specifications, and process documentation
- Support Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and 5S initiatives
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and company standards

What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree or technical school diploma (minimum two-year program) in a technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Experience supporting CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, tooling, or production processes
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
- Proficiency with CAM programming software; Siemens NX preferred, Mastercam accepted
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods
- Strong computer, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to Have
- Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience
- Experience with EDM drilling or CNC machining operations
- Experience using PC-DMIS, Geomagic, or similar metrology software
- Experience creating manufacturing documentation and work instructions
- Prior experience supporting continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing initiatives
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Split work environment between office and manufacturing shop floor settings
- Regular operation of CNC machining, EDM, and measurement equipment
- Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout production areas
- Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery
- Must comply with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Must pass applicable vision testing requirements, if required for the position
