About the Role:

The Parts Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts to customers and service departments, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This position requires a dependable individual who can manage deliveries using light trucks while maintaining a strong understanding of aftermarket parts and inventory management. The role supports the broader retail trade environment by facilitating seamless parts distribution, contributing to sales, leasing, and rental services. The Parts Driver also acts as a liaison between the parts counter, service, and body shop teams, ensuring that all parts needs are met promptly to support vehicle repairs and maintenance. Ultimately, this position helps uphold the dealership’s reputation for excellent service and comprehensive financial and equipment sales support in the Honda location.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for operating light trucks.
  • Proven ability to understand and follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts, particularly aftermarket parts.
  • Experience in a delivery or logistics role within a retail or automotive environment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a parts counter or service department.
  • Knowledge of service and body shop operations.
  • Previous experience in a dealership environment, especially Honda.
  • Customer service experience in a retail trade setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver automotive parts accurately and on schedule to customers, service departments, and body shops using light trucks.
  • Coordinate with the parts counter and service teams to verify orders and ensure correct parts are delivered.
  • Maintain detailed delivery logs and communicate any delivery issues or delays promptly to management.
  • Assist with inventory management by reporting stock levels and discrepancies observed during deliveries.
  • Support the dealership’s one-stop sales approach by facilitating parts availability for financing, leasing, and rental services.
