Job Requirements: Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to our Sushi restaurant guests and restaurant staff. Greet, and make welcome, each guest approaching the restaurant while smiling and making eye contact. Recognize and address repeat guests by surname. Pull out chairs for guests to be seated. Accommodating guests’ needs, i.e., wheelchair, restrooms, movement of drinks from one location to another, etc. Communicate guest complaints and compliments to management. Communicate guest needs to staff/management, i.e., celebrating anniversary and / or birthday, etc. Invite and welcome guests back upon completion of their visit. Take guest payments at register. Have ability to work at a point-of-sale terminal. Perform all duties in adherence to service standards.  Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow team members, and vendors. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Must be at least 19 years of age. High School Diploma and/or GED preferred. Leadership qualities and professional well-groomed appearance. Additional Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service oriented with an outgoing, upbeat, and positive personality. Ability to work in a team and independently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, potentially stressful environment. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.  Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.  Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
