Summary/Objective

The Material Handling Team Member responsibilities include receiving and recording all incoming product, organizing and managing all physical inventories and locations, stocking shelves and racks and moving of materials to support manufacturing and shipping. Other responsibilities include aiding with inventory questions, warehouse labeling and participating in inventory counts (cycle and year end). Team members will work together with other teams to provide an excellent customer experience for all customers.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

  3. Move, put away and record locations of products in a safe manner following SOPs and quality guidelines.
  4. Actively participate in problem solving and continuous improvement.
  5. Support and help in other areas as the manufacturing schedule dictates.

Competencies

  1. Detail oriented, with the ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
  2. Ability to recognize problems and suggest countermeasures.
  3. Ability to safely operate a forklift in a high traffic, fast paced manufacturing environment.
  4. Must be comfortable using saws and other power tools.
  5. Responsible self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  6. Experience with iPod scanner and computer would be a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Occasional overtime will be required.

Travel

Local travel to various worksites may be required. No overnight travel is required.
