Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the field-based sales team. Primary responsibility is to increase See's Volume Savings business through the sale of corporate gifts, fundraising, Yumraising, and overall volume sales. Primary focus will be to support the field sales team to enable the increase of new business and retain current customers while achieving sales & profitability goals.

This role leads a dynamic team and requires strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to strategize and pivot quickly to maintain focus and drive efficiency. Candidates should value quality, integrity, and feedback, and thrive in a fast‑paced, seasonally driven business with significant holiday peaks. The ideal candidate owns opportunities, is receptive to direction from leadership, and is eager to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. The pay range for this position is expected to be $95k - $105k annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Description:

This is flexible role for candidates across California, provided they are able and willing to travel to attend training and in-person meetings as needed

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā 

  • Promotes a customer-first culture and commitment to delivering outstanding results for all customers while focusing on See’s principles. Achieve sales goals set by management for assigned territories.Ā 

  • Provides exceptional customer service and works as the main contact while partnering with the Sales Support Manager to deescalate customer issues with urgency. Partner with Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Shops to develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure customer needs are met while achieving department and company goals. Work asĀ teamĀ liaison between order fulfillment and finance departments to resolve customer issues.Ā 

  • Maintains consistent communication with Field Sales Representatives. Hold weekly sales meetings andĀ in‑depthĀ pipeline audits with theĀ objectiveĀ of driving business, motivating reps, andĀ identifyingĀ and removing barriers.Ā Hold team accountable to department KPIs and create incentive contests to motivate achievement of sales goals.Ā Ā 

  • Source new and evaluate performance of current tradeshows. Oversee all associated activities including staffing, scheduling, payment, shipment of materials, samples, permits, and other requirements. Attend tradeshows asĀ required.Ā 

  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of See's products and Volume Savings programs (Fundraising, Business Gifts, Group Savings), plus Retail and Ecommerce.Ā 

  • Ensures customer account information and sales data are kept current and accurate through the use of Salesforce.Ā Follows all set processes & procedures while providing feedback to positivelyĀ impactĀ productivity.Ā 

  • Develop & train field team onĀ new salesĀ techniques, products, and VS programs. Provide ongoing coaching & feedback through territory visits and ride-alongs.Ā 

  • ManageĀ team’sĀ sales pipeline to ensure data quality while holdingĀ teamĀ accountable in moving customers through the sales process.Ā 

  • Partner with field sales representatives in achieving deeper market penetration through the acquisition of new accounts.Ā 

  • Provide Sr. Sales Manager support, report on field activities, KPIs, and complete special projects as assigned.Ā 

  • Establishes principles for change andĀ maintainsĀ change momentum through employee communication, engagement, and development. Also learns from, measures, and sustains change results.Ā Ā 

  • Performs specialĀ projectsĀ assigned by management.Ā 

  • Responsible forĀ identifyingĀ opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will improve departmental effectiveness.Ā

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ā 

  • Degree in Business Administration; equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Ā Ā 

  • Minimum five years’ experience managing a sales team covering multiple territories.Ā Ā 

  • Demonstrated success in achievingĀ sales objectivesĀ and growth projections in aĀ fieldĀ sales environment.Ā Ā 

  • Articulate, results-orientedĀ and competitive spirit.Ā Ā 

  • Prior experience covering a sales territory with aĀ radius ofĀ up to 50 miles.Ā Ā 

  • Excellent writtenĀ & verbalĀ communication skills.Ā Ā 

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordĀ required.Ā Ā 

  • Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job,Ā includingĀ driving, standing and/or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds frequently.Ā Ā 

  • Competent in using technology to improve work efficiency. Proficient with the full MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Ā OutlookĀ and video conferencing platforms.Ā Ā 

  • Proven ability to learnĀ new technologiesĀ quickly and manage change efficiently,Ā proactivelyĀ and in a positive manner.Ā Ā 

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, in addition to a full range of generous medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
