About the Role:
Westin Enterprises Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Work Assistant to join our team in Carson, CA. Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed social worker in assessing client needs and developing care plans
- Provide direct support and resources to clients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client case files and documentation
- Coordinate referrals to community resources, programs, and support services
- Conduct follow-up calls and check-ins to monitor client progress and well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care
- Assist in facilitating group sessions, workshops, or community outreach programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work and other Social Sciences.
- Prior experience in a social services, case management, or community support role is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and case management software
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
