Description

Jimmy's Gourmet Bakery is looking for a reliable and hardworking Sanitation Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing common areas throughout our production and office environments to support food safety, employee well-being, and operational excellence.

Requirements

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, entryways, and other common areas
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility
Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
Wipe down appliances, furniture, and frequently touched surfaces
Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
Restock restroom and sanitation supplies as needed
Report maintenance or repair needs to management
Maintain a clean and professional environment for employees and visitors
Follow all company food safety and sanitation policies
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old
Previous janitorial, sanitation, or custodial experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
