About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care for individuals in a substance use disorder treatment program. This role includes patient assessments, detox admissions, medication management, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and admission assessments.
- Diagnose and treat patients in detox and recovery programs.
- Initiate and monitor medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and discharge teams.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:
- Active NYS Nurse Practitioner license.
- DEA registration and OPRA certification.
- Buprenorphine prescribing eligibility required.
- 3+ years of clinical experience.
- Current BLS certification.

Preferred:
- Experience in addiction medicine, detox, or behavioral health.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
