Position Summary: Integrated Health of Southern Illinois is seeking a dependable, efficient, and patient-focused Medical Assistant (MA) to support clinic operations and medical providers in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and whole-body wellness. This role works closely with providers and clinical staff to support patient flow, treatment coordination, and overall clinic efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of medical providers Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers Assist with procedures and maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Perform patient education and follow-up communication as directed Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Adhere to clinic policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support coordinated patient care Deliver excellent patient service that reflects the values of Integrated Health of Southern Illinois QualificationsEducation & Experience: Current, active MA license in the state of Illinois Current BLS certification Previous clinical or outpatient experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and adapt to changing clinical workflows Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment Benefits: Health and Dental Insurance Complementary or discounted in-house services Paid time off (PTO) and holidays A supportive and collaborative team environment
