Millwright - Swing A

Ox is hiring a Millwright - Swing A for our Maintenance Department. This position supports all areas of mill maintenance in a 24 hour operation and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on mechanical work, troubleshooting equipment, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

This role includes lubrication, inspections, repairs, breakdown response, outage support, work order completion, machinery repair and relocation, piping work, and general mill maintenance. The position may also assist with powerhouse functions, minor electrical work, and operation of equipment such as the hydro rake and crane.

The Southern Swing schedule rotates through shifts such as 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must be able to pass the maintenance department entry exam and complete required company training.

This position requires routine lifting, ladder and stair use, confined space work, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with temperature extremes, humidity, and high noise levels. Safety, reliability, and a strong mechanical skillset are essential.
