NABRICO Marine Products is seeking a safety-focused, motivated Production Supervisor to join our team in Caruthersville, MO. In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to production employees while helping ensure safety, quality, and production goals are achieved. The Production Lead serves as a working leader by coordinating workflow, assisting team members, and promoting a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

NABRICO Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of inland barges and marine products serving the U.S. inland waterway system. Our products help transport essential commodities including grain, coal, aggregates, petroleum products, fertilizers, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes throughout the nation's waterways.

In addition to manufacturing dry cargo and tank barges, NABRICO Marine Products is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers and produces a complete line of marine deck hardware, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily production activities while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Coordinate work assignments and monitor workflow to help meet production schedules and department goals.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to production employees while leading by example.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new employees on safe work practices, quality expectations, and production procedures.
  • Monitor work to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Communicate production priorities, concerns, and updates with supervisors and team members.
  • Help identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to support production activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards.
  • Promote compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or heavy industrial environment required.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring employees is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, and work instructions preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Working knowledge of safe manufacturing practices and quality standards.
  • Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work around welding operations, heavy equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, and moving machinery.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and industrial conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, supervisors, and other departments while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.
