Opportunity available for a 1st Shift Yard Jockey in our Apex, NC distribution center. This position moves trailers around docks in a distribution warehouse. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)
- Move tractor trailers around/to and from docks on premisesÂ
- Maintain appropriate fuel levels (driving cab only)
- Fill orders using packing lists as a guide to pick various itemsÂ
- Print packing lists and place packing lists on boxes
- Use an RF scanner to pick items within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Use the WMS to group orders that will ship using the same carrier
- Use forklift or pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas
- Operate a forklift to retrieve various items
- Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers from pick slots to forklifts
- Determine the proper box size for orders and pack properly to ensure quality
- Perform basic mathematical calculations
- Follow safety regulations
- Perform other related duties, as required or directed
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to consistently move in a full range of motion
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Class A CDL – preferred
- Current DOT physical – preferred
