What You'll Do

• Transport residents according to an established schedule
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, using the wheelchair lift as needed
• Accurately maintain required transportation records and logs
• Maintain the vehicle as needed — fill with gas, keep clean, and notify the Maintenance Director of any problems or needed repairs
• Collect, clean, and distribute residents' linens in a timely, organized manner
• Occasionally clean, dust, vacuum, empty trash, and wash windows in resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Handle, process, and store linens and resident clothing properly to help control the spread of infection or disease

• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• At least 21 years of age
• Previous driving experience
• Patience and a genuine desire to work with seniors
• Dependability

• Ability to learn tasks and follow written and oral instructions
