The Blueprint (Role Profile)

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role is responsible for labeling, packaging, loading/unloading containers, and organizing products accurately and efficiently. The associate ensures that all warehouse tasks are performed in a timely, safe, and organized manner while maintaining quality and inventory standards. Work schedule is B shift Monday through Friday 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

The Build (Responsibilities)

  • Receive and make labels and boxes based on zone and priority
  • Determine and build packaging based on product size
  • Use equipment to determine location of box contents
  • Verify product number to the Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) label
  • Use basic mathematics to determine the appropriate number of picks
  • Order additional product from other locations when stock is low
  • Move boxes to additional zones when complete
  • Move and lift up to 50 pounds of product as needed 
  • Follow safety regulations
  • Loading products into a container, arranging them into secured pallets or organizing them in a secure way. 
  • Unloading products from containers and arranging them into secured pallets.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent 
  • Ability to consistently lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs 
  • Ability to consistently move in a full range of motion
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous distribution or warehouse experience
