That means refusing to choose between performance and sustainability, design and engineering, ambition and integrity. We achieve this through deep vertical integration, with design, engineering, and production happening in-house across our global offices and manufacturing facilities. Our teams come from industries around the world, united by a shared commitment to excellence. By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.

About the Team

Lucid’s Quality organization helps ensure vehicles are built, verified, and released with clear evidence of compliance, safety, and product readiness. The team connects regulatory requirements, Homologation, manufacturing execution, quality systems, and final product release across the full vehicle lifecycle. This team is unique in the way it partners across Design Engineering, Legal, Launch, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Product Release, and Homologation to translate complex requirements into practical controls on the manufacturing floor. Its work directly supports audit readiness, market readiness, and customer confidence in Lucid products.

About the Role

The GRC Program Manager is a senior-level role reporting to a leader within the Quality organization. This role exists to strengthen the connection between government regulations, safety requirements, EV-specific compliance expectations, manufacturing controls, and final product release decisions. In the first 12 months, this person will own the development and execution of regulatory compliance controls that support production readiness, audit readiness, and compliant vehicle release across applicable models, markets, and configurations. Success will be measured by complete release evidence, effective process controls, timely closure of compliance gaps, and improved alignment between Homologation requirements and manufacturing execution. A strong candidate will have the opportunity to shape how regulatory requirements are operationalized in an EV manufacturing environment where product design, launch execution, and release assurance intersect.

What You Own

  • Regulatory Controls: Define and maintain government regulatory processes, verification controls, and release criteria by vehicle configuration, market requirement, and export destination.

  • Homologation Alignment: Partner with Homologation to translate applicable requirements into manufacturing processes, inspection points, control plans, workstation controls, and release evidence.

  • Release Readiness: Confirm that regulatory, safety, certification, labeling, EV compliance, and product release evidence is complete before vehicles are released to customers or markets.

  • Process Verification: Lead production surveillance activities that verify government regulations, safety requirements, labeling requirements, EV-specific requirements, and destination-specific controls are effectively implemented.

  • Risk Resolution: Drive containment, correction, root cause analysis, corrective action, and prevention activities when safety, regulatory, labeling, EV compliance, or release issues are identified.

  • Audit Readiness: Coordinate internal, external, country-specific, and third-party audits by preparing evidence, supporting execution, tracking follow-up actions, and driving closure.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead cross-functional response and improvement efforts across Product Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Launch, Quality, Homologation, and Production to implement lessons learned in current and future programs.

What You Bring

  • 10 years of experience in an automotive, manufacturing plant environment.

  • 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or government affairs

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, or a related technical field.

  • Experience introducing new systems, equipment, manufacturing processes, inspection controls, or quality verification methods into a production environment.

  • Working knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, product release controls, engineering changes, deviations, rework processes, containment, and production quality systems.

  • Ability to interpret regulatory, homologation, safety, or quality requirements and translate them into manufacturing controls, inspection points, audit criteria, and release requirements.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in EV manufacturing, high-voltage systems, battery systems, electric powertrain controls, homologation, regulatory compliance, product launch, or product release processes.

  • Experience developing manufacturing processes and systems for new products, including launch readiness, production validation, and release governance.

  • Experience with regulatory compliance topics such as certification labels, tire and loading labels, Monroney/window stickers, EPA EV Fuel Economy & Environment labels, VIN and configuration accuracy, export-market requirements, or EV safety requirements.

  • Knowledge of control plans, PFMEA, special characteristics, error-proofing, layered process audits, containment, corrective action, root cause analysis, SPC, and inspection standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position, including understanding work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related communications.
