Job DetailsJob Location: CG ARIZOLA - CASA GRANDE, AZ 85122Position Type: Full-timeJob Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-FridaySTATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Resident position combines post-graduate training and education to specialize in patient care, practice management and special projects within the clinic. The Pharmacy Resident will also be responsible for an assigned project. In addition to general pharmacist responsibilities and duties, a Pharmacy Resident provides clinical pharmacy services and ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services as outlined below on a daily basis. A Pharmacy Resident assists in the supervised development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies. The pharmacy resident will work as a part of an interdisciplinary team in order to assist in the proper delivery of clinical pharmacy services within the clinic. When the organization has multiple Pharmacy Residents their activity will be coordinated by the Director of Pharmacy.   This position has a defined length of time for employments and is contingent upon the individual’s continuous enrollment in the clinic’s residency program. Completion or separation from the program will be terms for separation from the organization. In outlying sites, the Pharmacy Resident has matrix reporting responsibilities to both the Director of Pharmacy and the Site Manager.QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD degree Current Arizona State Board of Pharmacy License
