As a Receptionist at MIKID, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily office activities under the guidance of the Family Support Manager. Your responsibilities will include answering incoming calls promptly, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate staff members. You'll greet guests professionally, track office staff locations as needed, and ensure the office is closed securely when required. Managing office supplies, preparing outgoing mail, and distributing incoming mail are also key duties. You'll maintain office equipment, oversee repairs and replacements as directed, and keep the reception area and workspace tidy and organized at all times.


Additionally, you'll track MIKID equipment issued to employees, maintain accurate logs, conduct audits, and coordinate equipment returns during employee exits in collaboration with Human Resources. You'll provide support during events and special projects, print materials such as flyers and brochures, and assist in scheduling meetings and coordinating conference calls. Other responsibilities include reconciling petty cash, managing alarm codes, overseeing the employee name badge process, and handling other duties as assigned, always prioritizing efficient call handling.

Requirements

Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, at least two years of office experience supporting multiple staff members, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook) is essential, along with excellent organizational abilities. Knowledge of behavioral health agency policies and procedures is beneficial. The ability to work well under pressure, respond to inquiries promptly, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information are crucial attributes for success in this role.
