What You'll Do:
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to janitorial team; assign and prioritize workloads.
- Coordinate and adjust cleaning schedules to meet operational needs across multiple properties.
- Train and onboard employees on procedures, equipment, safety standards, and company expectations.
- Monitor work quality and ensure consistent adherence to cleaning and facility standards.
- Coach employees on performance and communicate updates, concerns, and achievements to management.
- Maintain inventory levels; order, receive, track, and distribute cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper maintenance, storage, and repair of janitorial equipment.
- Perform daily janitorial duties including cleaning offices, common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and conference rooms.Â
- Operate cleaning equipment and perform specialty floor care (e.g., stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning).
- Maintain interior and exterior areas including entryways, walkways, stairwells, and parking areas. Restock supplies, manage waste and recycling, and maintain high-touch surfaces and building presentation.
- Conduct building security checks and submit maintenance requests or facility concerns as needed.
- Assist with basic facility maintenance, minor repairs, inspections, and groundskeeping activities.
- Support special projects, events, and departmental needs; provide coverage during staffing shortages.
- Drive company vehicles to transport staff, supplies, and equipment between locations.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals and waste.

What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- A high school diploma and at least five (5+) years of relative experience and two (2) years experience in a leadership role; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Computer SkillsÂ
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to utilize ADP.Â
- Ability to input maintenance and housekeeping requests in maintenance softwareÂ
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Willingness to temporarily or occasionally work swing shifts (4:00pm – 12:00am) for training and coverage as needed.Â
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.Â
