About the Role:
Digestive Care Specialists LLC is looking for a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our dedicated team in Casper, WY. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients dealing with gastrointestinal and digestive health conditions. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and endoscopic procedures
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments in accordance with Wyoming APRN scope of practice
- Provide patient education on disease management, nutrition, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to ensure continuity of patient services
Requirements:
- Active APRN licensure in the state of Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current national NP board certification (FNP, ACNP, or equivalent)
- DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or specialty care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
