Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Hours: Full Time, Days, Weekend Rotation 

Sign on Bonus: $5,000 ($2,500 on first pay check, $2,500 after 6 months). 

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time Physical Therapist Assistant for our Rehab department. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services.
REQUIREMENTS:                               
  • Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Michigan.
  • Able to pass a criminal background investigation and drug test.
  • CPR for Professional Rescuer or BLS-C certification required (will be provided by the employer).
  • Strong communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing professional outpatient and/or inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation services within Aspire-Rural Health System. Responsibilities will include: assisting physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, monitoring and documenting patient progress, reporting changes or concerns in patient progress to the supervising physical therapist, educating patients and families, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment. Responsible for adhering to APTA Standards of Practice, prevailing accreditation body guidelines, and all applicable state and federal laws.
