Position: Scheduler

Department: Prior Authorization

Location: Cass City, MI

Hours: Full Time. Days. No Holidays. Full Benefits.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a Scheduler in our Prior Authorization department. We are looking for those who have a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide the highest quality of services for our patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma, Associates Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures at the level needed to perform responsibilities.
• Proficient knowledge of major health plans and insurance processes.
• Ability to compute mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, professional and friendly demeanor.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include obtaining prior authorizations and scheduling of testing, securing specialty referrals, and authorizations for surgical procedures.
