Instrumentation Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd Shift maintenance team in Cassopolis, Michigan. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations through the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.Â
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and commission instrumentation and control systems, including transmitters, controllers, meters, and related devices.
- Support and maintain PLCs, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and various automated control systems.
- Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Document maintenance activities and work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Support contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.Â
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintenance certification or relevant technical training.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial equipment and control systems.
- Ability to work a regular 2nd Shift schedule and overtime as needed to support business operations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety practices and procedures.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.Â
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance or instrumentation experience.
- Experience with PLCs, DCS systems, and industrial automation controls.
- CMMS and/or ERP system experience.
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
- Programming experience with industrial control systems.Â

Physical Requirements
