We have openings for both Assisted Living and Memory Care.

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

Welcome to the exciting world of being a Senior Activities Assistant, where you'll get to plan and execute a plethora of recreational, physical fitness, social, cultural, and religious events for our residents. You'll also orchestrate special seasonal events that celebrate resident milestones and holidays.

You'll enjoy fostering genuine connections with our residents every day. Collaborating with them, you'll ensure that their unique life enrichment needs are met, and work alongside our exceptional team to develop fresh opportunities for engagement.

Other key duties may include:

  • Plan, implement, and demonstrate crafts with creativity to the memory care residents
  • Be able to drive residents to outings with the company car or 13-passenger bus
  • Assists in developing and producing monthly calendars, newsletters, and other administrative duties as needed
  • Teach exercise classes to the residents
  • Answer phones at the front desk during the concierges' lunches
  • Serve snacks and drinks during our happy hour and special events
  • Maintain a clean workspace for activities

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Qualifications:

  • 21+ years old
  • Must obtain CPR/First Aid Training within a specific time frame of hire
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and others
  • Ability to make presentations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement a varied program of social recreation, cultural, and religious activities for a large population of seniors
  • Prior experience with Assisted Living or Memory Care patients
