Driver B

OVERVIEW:

The Class B Driver is responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of wine products throughout the assigned region. This role supports daily distribution operations by ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Delivers product accurately in a timely manner
• Maintains signed proof and accurate documentation for all deliveries
• Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner
• Loads and unloads vehicle in a timely manner
• Provides great customer service
• Has good decision-making skills
• Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

KNOWELDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

• Clean DMV report
• Familiarity and knowledge of Southern California
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and state departments of transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Use manual pallet jack to move pallets of wine.
• Use hand truck to move cases of wine from truck to route stop.
• Reaching, stretching, bending, and climbing in and out of truck at each stop throughout the day.
