Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee access procedures. In this access control role, you will help promote a secure environment through visible presence, routine observations, and strong communication. Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or badge systems to help control access to the location, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel, documenting events, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, parking areas, and other sensitive locations where working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or delivery personnel regarding entry procedures, restricted areas, and site expectations while completing required reports and other routine documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
