Earthwork Utility Heavy Equipment Operator | In this role you will…
Be responsible for operating company owned machinery in a safe and effective manner.  Able to demonstrate safe operation of assigned equipment.  Operator is expected to use his/her experience and judgement to make decisions considering safety and efficiency. 
  • Ensure all safety requirements and codes are implemented and met by all team members
  • Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
  • Understand means and methods to safely perform assigned tasks
  • Understand and ensure safety of team members
  • Monitor and track field data as requested by superintendent
  • Maintain paperwork daily
  • Operate heavy equipment includes running, maneuvering, navigating, and driving
  • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life in accordance to company policies and procedures
  • Perform daily pre-inspections: identify problems or defects that need corrected, report problems or defects immediately
  • Heavy Equipment includes (but not limited too): Excavator, Dozer, Off Road Truck, Motor Grader, Backhoe, Skid Steer, Roller, Reclaimer, etc.
