ABOUT THE ROLE

The Machine Operator performs tasks that are essential to production like machine setup and operation. The Machine Operator ensures components are made to specifications, guides production throughput, and assists with other duties as needed.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Studies blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasks
  • Assists in the setup of essential equipment
  • Operates equipment necessary for production order fulfillment 
  • Ensures components are made accurately.
  • Review production order requirements to determine accuracy, method, materials, and equipment needed to complete each project
  • Assist team with complex assembly projects
  • Operates essential equipment
  • Other duties as assigned/directed by manager or supervisor

  

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Aptitude of mechanics
  • Self-motivated 
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Work safely and look out for the safety of the team
  • Keep a clean and hazard free workspace
  • Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly
  • Use reason to solve problems
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs
  • Follow JSA, work instructions, and use identified PPE
  • Takes pride in work product and the final product that is shipped
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
