The Role

We're hiring a Sales Manager for a high-volume import store in Owings Mills. This is a desk position for someone who already knows how to build a deal from the ground up — not just close one that's handed to them.

We're specifically looking for a candidate with a strong Finance Manager background. If you've spent years structuring deals, working lenders, and protecting gross on the back end, you already have the hardest part of this job figured out. We'll back you on the rest.

Why a Finance Background Matters Here

The managers who win on our desk are the ones who see the whole deal before the customer sits down. You'll be structuring to the lender's guidelines the first time, not the third. You'll know which bank takes which credit tier, where the advance sits, and how to build a deal that holds front and back gross without kicking it back to F&I to fix.

What You'll Do

• Desk deals start to finish — structure, work numbers, take T.O.s, and close
  
• Set the daily pace: track ups, appointments, log calls, and hold the floor accountable
  
• Coach and develop a team of salespeople, including new hires with limited experience
  
• Work closely with the F&I office to maximize per-copy while keeping CIT clean
  
• Manage lender relationships and placement to keep contracts funding fast
  
• Partner with the used car manager on trade appraisals and inventory turn
  
• Track and act on your numbers: closing ratio, gross per unit, aging, CSI
  

What You Bring

• 3+ years as a Finance Manager, with time desking deals or a documented move toward the desk
  
• Deep knowledge of deal structure, lender programs, credit tiers, and compliance
  
• Track record of holding gross without sacrificing CSI
  
• Experience with import brands and OEM programs preferred
  
• Comfortable in a CRM and DMS — CDK, Reynolds, VinSolutions, DealerSocket, or similar
  
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
  
• A coaching mentality: you want to build people, not just push units
