Our multidisciplinary team of over 90 clinicians, offers child, adolescent and adult psychiatric medication management, individual and group therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and weight management services.  Despite our significant growth, we have intentionally stewarded a close-knit culture with a strong record of provider longevity and retention.

Position Overview

The PMHNP will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment to children, adolescents, and/or adults, depending on clinical interest and experience. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, collaborative clinician who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships, works well within a multidisciplinary team, and wants to continue expanding their clinical skills.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, evidence-based guidelines, and treatment response.
  • Prescribe psychotropic medications as appropriate, monitoring effectiveness, side effects, and progress over time.
  • Manage patients with conditions including anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders.
  • Provide patient education on mental health conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Assess suicide risk, safety concerns, and other acute symptoms; distinguish emergent from non-emergent situations and coordinate appropriate levels of care, including referral to higher levels of care when indicated.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and coordinate care with the patient's family and their multidisciplinary team.
  • Work effectively with administrative staff and the multidisciplinary treatment team, including ongoing collaboration with therapy providers.
  • Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Practice consistent with current psychiatric standards, applicable laws and regulations, licensing requirements, organizational policies, and professional and ethical boundaries.
  • Remain current with evidence-based practices in psychopharmacology and behavioral health.

  • Substance use disorders
  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and psychedelic medicine
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Obesity medicine



Required Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • At least three years of post-graduate clinical experience providing direct psychiatric patient care.
  • Current ANCC board certification as a PMHNP-BC.
  • Current Maryland licensure, in good standing, and eligibility to practice as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Maryland.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, psychopharmacology, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Commitment to appropriate documentation, professional standards, and ongoing learning.



Schedule and Work Environment

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
  • No call.
  • Offices are open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Flexible scheduling and a hybrid model combining Telehealth and in-office care.
  • Opportunities to practice at the Gladstone location of your choosing.



Compensation and Benefits

  • Wage range: $150,000  to $160,000 per year for full-time, commensurate with experience and clinical hours. Part-time compensation is prorated.
