Knights Mechanical is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Plumber to join our growing team. This position is responsible for leading plumbing installations and service projects while ensuring quality workmanship, jobsite safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a skilled plumber with strong leadership abilities, extensive industry knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.Â

What You’ll Do:Â
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and service workÂ
- Lead plumbing projects from start to finish while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standardsÂ
- Supervise and coordinate plumbers, apprentices, and subcontractors on assigned projectsÂ
- Assign work tasks and monitor project progress to ensure deadlines are metÂ
- Conduct jobsite inspections to verify compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and company standardsÂ
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues efficiently and effectivelyÂ
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, manpower plans, and project goalsÂ
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project updates as neededÂ
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local, state, and company safety requirementsÂ
- Mentor, train, and develop junior plumbers and apprenticesÂ
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environmentÂ
What You’ll Bring:Â
- Minimum of 8 years of plumbing experienceÂ
- Proven leadership experience managing crews and jobsite operationsÂ
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and service proceduresÂ
- Thorough understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practicesÂ
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documentsÂ
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Ability to effectively interact with customers, subcontractors, and team membersÂ
- Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulationsÂ
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordÂ
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Experience leading commercial and/or multi-family plumbing projectsÂ
- Experience with project scheduling and manpower planningÂ
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 CertificationÂ
- Strong customer service backgroundÂ
- Experience training and developing apprenticesÂ
Physical RequirementsÂ
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 poundsÂ
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spacesÂ
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and active construction environmentsÂ
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workdayÂ
