Stark Tech is seeking a Branch General Manager to lead our New Jersey business. This is a senior leadership opportunity with responsibility for the overall performance and continued growth of the branch, including P&L ownership, sales and operational performance, customer relationships, and team leadership.

 

As Branch General Manager, you'll set the direction for the business while staying connected to the customers, teams, and market that drive its success. You'll partner across Stark Tech to identify growth opportunities, strengthen operational performance, develop talent, and ensure our New Jersey business is positioned for long-term success.

 

What you'll do

  • Lead the overall performance of the New Jersey branch, with ownership of revenue, profitability, budgets, operating costs, and P&L results.
  • Develop and execute business strategies that support growth across Integration sales and services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our customer base, strengthen market presence, and grow existing relationships.
  • Partner with Sales leadership on annual planning, sales targets, pipeline development, account strategy, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor key business metrics including backlog, gross profit, forecast accuracy, pipeline, margins, DSO, service delivery, and workforce utilization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, mechanical and electrical contractors, and other industry partners.
  • Ensure strong operational execution across project delivery, service, safety, customer experience, and business processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while creating an environment of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Make thoughtful staffing and organizational decisions that support current business needs and future growth.
  • Represent Stark Tech in the New Jersey market through customer, industry, and community engagement.

Work Experience

 What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in the Building Automation and/or construction industry.
  • 5+ years of management or leadership experience.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing a P&L.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing profitable growth and sales strategies.
  • Experience leading teams and driving results across multiple business functions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day business and operational needs.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 35% as business needs require.

 

Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $160,773 - $264,127 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
