This role is part of our Tactical Missiles and Integrated Defense Systems business, which designs and develops integrated missile and defense systems that support critical missions across air, land, and sea. We combine comprehensive analysis, engineering, and program execution capabilities to deliver mission-tailored solutions that reduce lead times, lower costs, and simplify complex multi-vendor supply chains.  Backed by decades of flight-proven and fielded performance, we design and build mission-critical technologies including launch systems, propulsion, payload integration solutions, UAV components, missile subsystems, and Safe & Arm systems.

The Production Technician I supports daily assembly and production activities to ensure materials and finished products meet required quality standards. The role helps maintain workflow by following established procedures, operating equipment as assigned, and promptly reporting issues to supervisors to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.

Schedule

  • 4Ă—10 schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm, with every other Friday off.

Responsibilities

  • Performs assembly and production line tasks according to established procedures and supervisor direction.
  • Follows departmental policies and quality standards to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Verifies incoming materials meet required quality standards using approved quality control (QC) methods.
  • Completes necessary QC documentation, including rejection forms and missing packing list forms.
  • Requests raw materials as needed to support production activities.
  • Identifies and reports defective materials to the supervisor.
  • Operates material-handling equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when assigned.
  • Supports loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand, follow, and maintain quality and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to detect problems and report information to a supervisor.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
  • The essential functions of this position must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
