Maurice Electric Supply, an affiliate of USESI, is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Specialist to join our team. This position will be located in our Landover, MD office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from approval through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Track purchase orders, project timelines, deliverables, and shipment schedules
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, contractors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles
  • Support Project Managers with administrative and project coordination tasks
  • Maintain detailed project records, status updates, and reporting metrics
  • Review project documentation, process purchase orders, and ensure billing accuracy
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries and escalating issues as needed
  • Identify risks, manage change requests, and support process improvements

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with project coordination or construction-related projects strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (such as Solar) is advantageous
  • Ability to read schematics or project plans is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
