Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Flat Welders for projects located in the Cedar Hill, TX area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Maintain a strong safety record by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
• Fit weld and assemble natural gas components per api 1104
• Utilize an oxygen acetylene torch effectively and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute welding tasks
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications
• Use of a weld positioner/turntable majority of welds will be rolled out
• Inspect material for defects and check material specifications to record traceability requirements
• Read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16

Requirements

• Must pass a weld test
