How you'll make an impact in this role
- Execute continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring for high-acuity patients requiring vigilant, real-time heart health surveillance.
- Analyze and interpret complex ECG waveforms, proactively identifying irregular rhythms, subtle changes, and critical arrhythmias.
- Partner with multidisciplinary care teams, delivering rapid, precise communication of clinical changes to nurses and physicians to ensure immediate intervention.
- Manage and optimize advanced telemetry inventory, overseeing the troubleshooting, calibration, and supply tracking of life-saving electronic monitoring equipment.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
What additional requirements you'll need
- Prefer 1+ years telemetry monitoring experience.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Follows all organizational and departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
