Job Description:Â
MMR is seeking Field Engineer candidates to support field installation activities by conducting walkdowns, verifying layouts, resolving constructability issues, assisting with inspections, maintaining as‑built documentation, and providing accurate progress and quantity tracking to field supervision. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:
- Relay RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications to frontline supervisors.
- Perform layout verification and field walkdowns inclusive of site surveying.
- Identify and resolve constructability issues and design interpretation.
- Support quality inspections and testing by providing list of completed tag items for qualityÂ
- inspections.
- Maintain as-built documentation.
- Review daily installation progress and quantity reports generated by foreman.
- Coordinate directly with foremen and supervisors.
- Perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting.
- Work with Construction Managements and Superintendents to provide constraints reports impacting productivity.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper managementÂ
Required Skills and Qualifications:Â
BS in Construction Management or related fieldÂ
Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferredÂ
Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications Â
Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervisionÂ
Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls Â
Working knowledge of MS Office softwareÂ
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Â
Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadlineÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as neededÂ
Regular and reliable attendance at workÂ
